2 or 3 Apples ADD:
1 C. Sugar 2 C. Flour
1 C. Raisins 1/4 tsp. Soda
1 C. Water 1/2 C. Nuts
1/2 C. Shortening
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Boil apples, sugar, raisins, water, shortening, cinnamon and cloves for 3 minutes. Cool, then add flour, soda and nuts. Bake at 350. No time given for how long to bake. I would guess 30-40 minutes.
