2 C. Sugar 3 C. Rolled Oats
1/2 C. Butter 1/2 C. Peanut Butter
1/2 C. Cocoa 1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 C. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, butter, cocoa and milk in pan. Bring to a boil, reduce but continue to boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, add peanut butter, vanilla and oats. Drop by spoonful onto waxed paper and let cool.

This was my favorite cookie served in our grade school cafeteria. When I was in High School I briefly dated a guy whose mom had worked in our cafeteria. I kept him around long enough to get the recipe from her (LOL). I still have the original recipe card some 30+ years later; and it's still my favorite!
