2 1/2 c. diced apples (about 3 large Rome apples or Delicious apples),
1 c. sugar,
2 tsp. butter,
1 egg,
1/4 tsp. salt,
1 c. flour,
1/2 tsp. nutmeg,
1 tsp. cinnamon,
1 tsp. baking soda,
1 drop of vanilla,
1/4 of 1/2 c. nuts. (I like walnuts)
