1 Tbls. lemon zest
1 fresh squeezed lemon plus additional water to make the amount called for on mix.

1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:
I like to put in tart pans or one of those wavy edged pans that dips in the middle. Holds more frosting that way. Bake according to pkg. directions. Remove from oven. Cool. Poke w/fork all over top. Combine frosting ingredients ( be sure frosting is thin) and pour over top of cake(s).

This is my family's favorite cake ever. We rarely have a whole piece cuz the flavor makes your mouth wild. But we sliver it to death in one or two days! Love Irene
