5 cups water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup long grain white rice
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup butter
4 large vidalia onions, chopped
6 oz. of grated swiss cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to boil, add rice, simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside. Cook onions in butter in a fry pan until they are translucent. Stir rice, onions, swiss cheese & half and half and salt/pepper together in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Place in a greased baking pan at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until browned.
