1 C. torn spinach
1 head romaine lettuce (6 cups)
1 C. seedless grapes halved
1/2 C. toasted slivered almonds
1 - 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
1 avocado - peeled, cubed

1/2 C. oil
1/4 C. vinegar
1/4 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix ingredients for dressing and chill. Assemble the salad ingredients except the avocado. Just before serving toss the salad with the dressing and add the avocado, just before plating.
