2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. vegetable shortening
6 T. ice water, as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Work the shortening into the flour until it resembles cornmeal. Add the ice water one at a time until you get a nice ball shape that you can lift out of the bowl. Divide into 2 halves. Roll out on a floured surface making sure to keep size in mind to fit your greased pie pan. After lying the dough into your pie pan brush with egg wash and fill with your choice of filling.
