1 box of Beef Rice-A-Roni
1 lb. ground beef
1 box frozen peas, thawed
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and drain. Prepare the box of Beef Rice-A-Roni as directed. Pat in the bottom of 8 inch casserole dish. Layer the drained peas on top of rice mixture. Sprinkle the browned hamburger meat on top of peas. Top with 1 can of cream of mushroom, spreading with a spatula to smooth over top. Bake 35 - 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Aunt Esther made this for me when I visited her in Bowling Green, KY. I thought it was so good, and it was so much fun cooking in her apartment kitchen. This would have been in the late 1960's. Submitted by Karen Sword.
