1 lb. ground beef or ground chuck
1 pkg. taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
1 16 oz. can black beans or red kidney beans
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 8oz. pkg shredded chedder cheese
1 large tomato finely diced
2 cups tortilla chips or Dorito's cheese flavored chips, crushed
1/4 head of iceberg lettuce
1 cup fresh baby spinach
1 bottle of salsa ranch salad dressing
1 bottle of taco sauce

In large skillet, brown hamburger, drain off excess grease. Add taco seasoning and water and return to heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile drain and rinse beans. Put hamburger in large tupperware bowl and let cool for 5 minutes. After its cool add the beans and the chopped onions. Put in refrigerator for 10 minutes. After cooled place a mixture of lettuce and spinach in large salad bowl top with taco meat mixture, crushed chips, tomatoes, taco sauce, and ranch dressing. Toss to mix eat and enjoy!

So good my husband loves eating the spicy salad. Got the reciepe from my teacher in high school and put my own spin on it. If you really want to kick it up a notch add jalepeno peppers!
