1 lb. round steak 1/2 in thick
2 T. soy sauce
1 T. salad oil
1 T. cooking Sherry
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp.sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 medium green peppers, cut in strips
2 small onions, quartered
1 tsp. salt
2 small tomatoes, cut in wedges
3 cups hot cooked rice

Cut steak lenghtwise in half; slice halves into thin strips. In large bowl, combine steak, soy sauce, 1 T. salad oil, sherry, cornstarch, sugar and ginger and set aside.
In large skillet over medium heat, in 2 T. salad oil, cook green peppers, onions and salt, stirring often until tender. Remove to bowl. In same pan at medium heat, heat 3 T. oil and then add meat and stir. Fry unitl well browned. Stir in vegetables and tomatoes and cook until tomatoes are heated through.
