1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 T. onion flakes
1 large egg
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 (8 oz.) can Hunts tomato sauce with tomato bits

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and shape into 8 oval loaves. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile prepare the sauce. Combine the following ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) can of Hunts Tomato Sauce with Tomato Bits
2 T. brown sugar
2 T. parsley flakes
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Spoon excess grease off meat loaves. Pour sauce over loaves and bake 5 minutes longer.

Our family needed main dishes that could be prepared fast due to our busy schedules. This meatloaf recipe put a hot homemade meal on the table (with microwaved baked potatoes) in a jiffy.
