Ingredients:  
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
Make mixture with above ingredients.

Cream together:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
Add:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Add the following ingredients to butter mixture
alternating with 1 cup sour cream:
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Grease and flour round angel food pan. Put 1/2 batter in pan. Arrange apple slices over this. (1 medium apple, pared and sliced.) Put 1/2 nut mixture over apples. Add rest of batter and top with remaining nut mixture. Bake 375 for 35 - 40 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan.

This recipe was from a magazine that both the Craycraft girls and my sister and I used for 4-H and always placed well! Someone took it to the reunion one year and others requested this recipe.
