1/2 c lard or shortening
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 c plus 2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c blueberries (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. You can add 1 cup blueberries to make a blueberry cake. Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
