"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Let cream cheese and butter soften at room temperature.

Pastry: Blend cream cheese & butter. Stir in sifted flour. Shape dough into one inch balls and place into tiny greased muffin tins. Dip finger in flour and then press dough on bottom and sides (making a little dough cup).

Filling: Mix butter and brown sugar well. Add beaten egg, salt, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in crushed pecans. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

*Tip: Let cool before removing from tin. Gently twist the tarts rather than prying them out (to avoid breaking). Eat the casualties
