5 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. sugar
1 cake of yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup luke warm water
2 c. buttermilk

Directions:

Mix and store in refrigerator until ready to use.

The nice thing about this recipe, you can take out as much as you need and have fresh hot bread for a few days.
