4 c. shredded apples
2 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle sugar over apples. Beat eggs & oil together. Mix dry ingredients and add to oil & egg mixture. Add apples & sugar mixture, then nuts--mix well with a spoon.

Place in greased & floured 13" x 9" cake pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
