1/2 lb. smoked sausage, sliced 1/4 inch thick
2 slices bacon, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 medium green pepper, diced
2 T. butter
2 c. baked beans
1 1/2 c. half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Saute sausage, bacon, garlic, onion and pepper in butter until bacon is cooked. Add beans and simmer for 25 minutes over medium to low heat. Add half and half until soup reaches your desired thickness. Simmer soup additional 15 minutes and serve with corn bread.
