4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 3/4 cup shortening

1/2 cup water
1 tsp vinegar
1 egg beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients with shortning, using a pastry cutter until crumbly. Add egg, vinegar and water and mix with fork. Roll out dough between layers of wax paper dusted with flour.

Grandma Howell's (Ada) recipe for pie crust. I had trouble rolling out my Mom's recipe so she had me get Grandma's because it was moister and easier to roll.
