Sauce:
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Bring ingredients to a boil.

Batter:
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 T. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
Flour to thicken to consistency of drop biscuits

Directions:
Directions:
Drop batter a teaspoonful at a time into the sauce and cook until thick. Pour into a baking dish, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

This is an old Taylor family recipe. In our family this recipe is a must on Christmas Day and on snow days when the boys are home from school. We like to double the recipe!
