1/2 box (10 oz) frozen strawberries
1/2 C sugar
4 egg yolks
1 C heavy cream, whipped
1/2 C prepared dairy topping
few drops of red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine frozen strawberries, sugar and egg yolks in top of double boiler. Cook over simmering water until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Set pan in refrigerator until mixture is cool. Fold together the whipped cream and dairy topping, fold in the strawberry mixture. Pour into meringue crust. Chill at least 12 hours. To serve, top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
