1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
About 1 cup water, with 1 tsp. vanilla added
6 apples

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, flour, flour & cinnamon together. Peel and slice apples into baking dish. Add water/vanilla. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the top. Bake at 450 for 15 to 20 minutes, then lower temperature to 350 for another 40-45 minutes, until apples are tender.
