1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
nuts if desired
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 cup mashed bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Add bananas. Add sifted dry ingredients. Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans at 350 for 1 hour.
