1 Can (15 1/2oz.) Great Northern Beans
1 Onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each beef broth)
2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
1/4 tsp. cayenne
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
2 c. water
1 tsp. dried basil
1 c. shell pasta, cook according to pkg. directions

Combine all ingredients except pasta in crockpot. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Add pasta to warm and serve.

I made this soup in Alexandria for the church's soup suppers during lent using vegetable broth instead of beef broth. Very good.
