1 cup shortening
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
2 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. cinnamon
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening and sugar together. Add rest of ingredients. Cover and chill for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Roll to 1/4". Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

(Do not make dough stiff!)
