3 c. soft bread crumbs (4 c. for firm)
2 c. milk, scalded with 1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
1/2 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Turn oven on at 350. Place bread crumbs in 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Blend remaining ingredients and pour over bread crumbs. Place casserole dish in a pan of hot water and bake 40-45 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce.
