2 1/2 c. of flour
1 1/3 c. of shortening (not liquid)
6 tbsp of flour
1/2 c. of warm water
1 1/2 tsp. of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and shortening until crumbly. Make a paste of 6 tbsp of flour, 1/2 cup of warm water and salt. Add paste to the flour mixture. Ready to make your pie like usual by sprinkling flour on board and rolling it out.

When I was a little girl my mom would make an extra pie crust rolled out nice and thin with lots of sugar on it and bake it until lightly brown and now my boys have enjoyed the same treat.
