4 slices bacon
1 small onion
1 small pepper
1 celery stalk
Worcestershire sauce
2 doz. cherrystone clams
1 stick butter
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper
sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Open clams and leave in shell. Fry bacon until half done. Saute onion, pepper and celery in butter. Squeeze the 1/2 of lemon over vegetables while cooking. Add shake of salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce; sprinkle on top of clams. Crumble bacon and shredded cheese on top. Put under broiler until bubbles.
