Cold Oven Pound Cake Recipe

1 c butter
3 c sugar
3 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c Crisco
5 eggs beaten
1 tsp baking powder
1 c evaporated milk
1 tsp each lemon, pineapple, almond, coconut
any flavor can be used.

Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar, beat until fluffy, Add eggs, vanilla and all other extract flavors and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with evaporated milk. Bake in greased tub pan approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until done. Be sure to start in COLD oven.
Bake at 350.
