1 c Crisco
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 2/3 c barley flour (or wheat flour)
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together, stir in barley, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Roll into 1" balls. Bake 400 for 8 - 10 minutes
