1 lb. beef stew meat cut in bite size pieces
1 c. celery cut in 1/2 inch slices
6 carrots cut in 1 inch pieces
4 potatoes cut in large bit size pieces
1 large onion chopped
2 T. tapioca
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
pepper to taste
1 1/2 C. tomato juice

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a covered casserole dish, mix together, cover and bake at 250 for 5 hours.
