1 cup flfour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 T. Lemon juice
small amount lemon rind, grated (optional)
2 T. flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1l8 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together 1st 3 ingredients (flour, butter & powdered sugar). Put into well buttered pan (not floured) and bake about 15 min in 325 oven. Burns easily so watch. Remove from oven and cool.
Mix together next ingredients eggs, Lemon juice & rind, flour, sugar & baking powder. Pour this mixture over baked crust and bake about 25 min. in 325 oven. When cool you can sprinkle ppowdered sugar over or spread with the icing using last 3 ingredients: butter, powdered sugar and boiling water.
