12 slices of bread, buttered on both sides
2 lbs. sausage or ham
1/4 c. chopped onion
1.4 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. grated cheese (cheddar)
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange 6 slices of bread on botton of 9x13 inch cake pan. Cover with cooked sausage or ham, onion, green pepper and 1/2 of cheese. Arrange 6 more slices of bread on top. Mix eggs and milk together and pour over top of all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake 55 minutes at 375. cover with remaining cheese and bake 10 minutes more. Let set 15 minutes than cut and serve.
