Ingredients: 2 T butter or margarine 1 1/2 to 2 T flour 1 c milk 3/4 c grated cheese 3 eggs (separated) Salt and Pepper

Directions: |
Directions:Preheat oven at 325º. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add flour stirring constantly. Gradually add the milk. Reduce the heat and add the cheese. When the cheese is melted, add 3 beaten egg yolks and seasoning. Cook and stir these ingredients 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and let cool. Whip 3 egg whites until stiff. Fold them lightly into the cheese mixture. Bake in an ungreased 7" baking dish for 40 minutes or until firm. |
