2 C. all purpose flour
2 T. sugar
1 T. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
1-3/4 C. sour cream
5 T. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, stir together flour sugar, baking powder and salt. Separately beat egg yolks with sour cream and melted butter. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Stir sour cream mixture into flour mixture just until ingredients are moistened, then fold in egg whites. Spoon onto a hot, prepared waffle iron, close lid and bake until golden brown. Serve with dollop of sour cream and fresh (sweetened) fruit, hot applesauce or butter and maple syrup.
