1 1/2 pounds pencil-thin asparagus
2 tbl. olive oil (or more if needed)
1/4 c. grated parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450.
Prepare asparagus by breaking off the bottom of the stalks at point where they bend. Put asparagus in large bowl and pour olive oil over, making sure all of the stalks have oil on them.
Put asparagus in ungreased oven-proof dish in a single layer. Spread cheese over top of asparagus.
Cook in very hot oven for 15 minutes and serve immediately.
