1/3 c. cocoa
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. vanilla chips
2/3 c. brown sugar
1-1/3 c. flour
2/3 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Layer each ingredient into a (canning) jar, following order as listed above. Cover with canning seal and band. (Decorate if you wish with fabric, ribbon, raffia) Attach the following instructions.

Combine contents of jar with:
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. oil
3 eggs
Walnuts, optional

Bake in a greased pan at 350 for 32 to 37 minutes(9x11 in-pan); 30 to 35 minutes(9x9 in-pan) Enjoy!

You could use a ziplock bag also. The jar makes a nice gift for neighbors, co-workers, teachers, etc. The brownies are good also!!
