1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Bisquick
Cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Beat all ingredients until smooth. Pour into medium-sized, greased pie plate. Bake 30 minutes at 350 or until knife comes out clean. Serve with cool whip.

This is a very old recipe from a restaurant in the North Carolina mountains between Waynesville and Cherokee. It was popular when Bisquick first arrived on the market. Thanks Grandma Peg!
