1 cup margarine or butter
2 cups carrots, grated
2 cups potatoes, grated
1 pkg big seeded raisins
1 cup small raisins
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 small container mixed fruit
3 cups flour

Mix ingredients together and steam for 3 hours.

Carrot pudding was a favourite at Gedcke Christmas'. This recipe is of Eileen Walker's which was very similar to the one Grandma Gedcke use to make.
