1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix sour cream and baking soda together until doubled in size. Blend together butter, sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Measure flour, baking powder and salt together. Mix alternately flour and sour cream with sugar mixture. Place half batter into a 9 x 9 plan (or tube pan). Cover with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake 350 F for 35-40 mins.
