2 cups of refried beans
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
salt
6-10 oz. shredded cheese
1 dozen flour tortillas

Directions:
Heat the refried beans and mix the shortening until the beans are mashed... Add salt and cheese.. Mix well and heat until all the cheese is melted.. Reduce heat and simmer...

heat tortillas.. Fill with bean mixture and add green chiles (see chile recipe), garlic powder and salt. Toll tortillas and place on a platter and smother with the Green Chile Pork ( see recipe) and ready to serve...
