1/2 cup sugar
3 T. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. lemon peel, grated
5 cups apples, unpeeled, sliced
1 cup cranberries
3/4 tsp. lemon juice

Topping:
2/3 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 T. soft margarine, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Combine sugar, flour, and lemon peel in a medium bowl. Mix in apples, cranberries, and lemon juice. Stir well. Transfer to a 6-cup baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add melted margarine, and stir to make topping. Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes, or until filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
