1/2 small onion, chopped
4 tablespoons beef or chicken broth
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 pear, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and
chopped
1 Red Delicious apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
2 dried apricots, soaked 20 minutes in 2 tablespoons apricot or other fruit-flavored brandy
4 tablespoons golden raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the onion in 2 tablespoons of the broth until limp. Sprinkle on the curry powder and cumin. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring, about 15 seconds.
Add the remaining ingredients, including the brandy, cover, and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until flavors are blended. Serve with pork dishes. Leftovers are easily reheated in a bit of broth or cider.
