2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped onion (or less)
1/2 cup oatmeal (add more, if too soft and moist)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper (or less)
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Mix ground beef and eggs together in large mixing bowl. Add
onion, oatmeal, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Shape into
balls using ice cream scoop. Roll balls in flour to coat. Brown in
skillet with a small amount of shortening. Put browned meatballs
into baking dish or small small roaster. Put 1 can of cream of
mushroom soup on top of meatballs. Add about 1/2 can of water,
rinsing out the can. (This forms a gravy.) Bake covered in 350
oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
