2 cans (16 oz) tart red cherries
1 c sugar
1/2 c flour or 2 T cornstarch
1/8 t salt
2 T butter
1/4 t almond extract

Pie Crust

Directions:
Directions:
Drain cherries, set aside.
Combine sugar, flour, salt in 4 c glass measure, stir in juice. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. stirring after each minute until quite thick.
Stir in all ingredients and gently fold in cherries.

Pour into pie crust add top and bake
425 35- 40 min. or until nicely browned.
