1/2 C shortening
1/2 C peanut butter
1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2-3 dozen chocolate stars or Dark Chocolate Hershey's Kisses
Directions:

1. Cream shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar, mixing well. Stir in eggs, milk, vanilla.
2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to mixing bowl until dough forms.
3. Make into teaspoon size balls.
4. Bake 8 minutes at 375º.
5. Remove and place a star/kiss in the center.
6. Bake for 3 more minutes.
