Do not use soft watery cucumbers1
1 Lb cucumbers
1 tbsp salt
2 tsp butter
1/2 cup onion
black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream,sour cream,or yougurt
fresh dill

Directions:
Directions:
cucumbers if waxed,cut in half and scoop seeds out.cut into chuncks.if not super firm. Place in colander and salt1 tsp let stand 20 min.rinse and dry.If firm proceed.with recipe.

Place butter in pan. when melted add onion.cook 5 min.(don't burn) add cucumbers,cook5 min. until tender.add pepper if not salted before, some salt.Turn heat on low .Add cream,& dill. still garnish with dill.
