1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour (scant)
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add all other ingredients and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Bake in 9 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
