9 Quarter cut carrots (11/2 lb ) into 2 inch length.
1tbsp suger
1/2cup water
1tbsp butter and 1/2 tsp salt
season with pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet bring carrots,1 tbsp suger,1/2cup water,1tbsp butter,and1/2tsp salt. Bring to boil,Reduce heat to a simmer.(partly covered)6 min.

Cook uncovered,over high heat tossing often until tender.
