1 package yellow cake mix

one 20oz can crushed pineapple, and half the syrup
1 cup sugar


topping
1 pkg, vanilla instant pudding
1 3/4 cups milk
8 oz carton sour cream
1 carton cool whip
chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
prepare cake mix according to directions, bake in greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan

when the cake is almost done boil together
the pineapple , sugar and half the syrup from the pineapple
when cake is done, but still hot poke holes with drinking straw in top of cake and pour the pineapple mixture over the hot cake.... COOL completely

combine pudding mix with milk and sour cream.. spread over cold cake add carton of cool whip,, sprinkle with finely chopped nuts ... better the 2nd day
