2 1/2 c self-rising flour
1 c buttermilk
1 1/2 c vegetable oil
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c red food color
1/1/2 c sugar
1 tsp cocoa
1 tsp vinegar (white)
2 large eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat until well blended. Pour into three greased and floured 9" baking pans and bake for 20 minutes. After about 10 minutes, remove from pans and cool completely before frosting with a cream cheese frosting or sweetened whipping cream.
